The Founders Warned Us About Some One Some Time...Could Be Right About Now.

"The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation on the ruins of public liberty.
It serves always to distract the public councils and feeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions.
It is important, likewise, that the habits of thinking in a free country should inspire caution in those entrusted with its administration to confine themselves with in their respective constitutional spheres, avoiding in the exercise of the powers of one department to encroach upon another. The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all departments in one and thus to create, whatever the form of government, a real despotism.
If in the opinion of the people the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed."

The Realm Of Gangster Government

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) speaking on the House floor: “Now we’ve moved into the realm of gangster government. We have gangster government when the Federal Government has set up a new cartel and private businesses now have to go begging with their hand out to their local–hopefully well politically connected–Congressman or their Senator so they can buy a peace offering for that local business. Is that the kind of country we are going to have in the future?”

DEMS In Comgress: Afraid of ACCORN, To Big To Fight

Bachmann: House Preserves ACORN’s Role in TARP II

Washington, D.C., Dec.10-2009

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) slammed the House democrats for allowing the corrupt ACORN organization to participate in the Consumer Financial Protection Agency’s Oversight Board.
From Her Congressional
Website:
(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann (MN-06), member of the House Financial Services Committee, made the following statement after the Democrat Leadership denied the entire House an opportunity to vote on her amendment to prevent ACORN from participating in the Consumer Financial Protection Agency’s Oversight Board.  The Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA) is an expansive new government bureaucracy with far-reaching powers to make decisions for consumers about the kinds of mortgages, small business loans, and other financial products they may access.  The Oversight Board will be tasked with advising the Agency’s director on strategies and policies.
An organization that has repeatedly shown an inability to adhere to even the most basic standards of ethics should not have a role in overseeing our nation’s financial system,” said Bachmann.  “By rejecting consideration of my amendment, the Democrat Majority protected ACORN instead of American taxpayers and investors.”
In recent months, the IRS, U.S. Census Bureau, and Congress have taken numerous actions to sever ties with ACORN.  In fact, less than two months ago, the House Financial Services Committee accepted another amendment offered by Bachmann that would prevent ACORN from serving on a similar board established in the exact same bill under consideration this week.
“There is a clear consensus amongst the American people that ACORN is unfit to receive federal funds and partner with federal organizations.  The Democrat Leadership’s decision today robs Congress from having the opportunity to take an up-or-down vote on my amendment and keep ACORN out of our financial markets,” said Bachmann.

“I read a report that Attorney General Eric Holder was indicating that it was unconstitutional for Congress to defund ACORN which seems laughable on its face because the founders gave Congress the right to create the laws that we lived under. If we can create laws we can certainly take away laws and if we create funding we can certainty take away funding,” said Bachmann.

Ganster Government is right. And the Gangster-in-Chief? Barack Obama was formed from the very goo of Chicago Thug politics, and is still knee deep in the stuff.

The Chicago Machine, currently run by hizzoner Da Mare Richard Daley, was originally formed by what famous son of Chicago (actually a displaced New Yorker)?

Correct a mundo: Alfonse 'Scarface' Capone. Barack Obama is the product of the same culture, and things over the years are a bit more refined. They no longer claim to be in 'the used furniture business.' It's now called Chicago Thug Politics.

Did you see the episode of the Untouchables, when Frank Niddy was charged for double dipping? The Men in Black with their backs to the camera gave the thumbs down. Told him to comment suicide or they would take care of him.
The episode created a ending different. Frank was in a shoot out with Elliot Ness.
Those are the Puppet String Pullers.
Hence the Name of my blog!
The bail out scam. My Post Title Ask "Bail Out Or Florin Peoples' Withdrawal?" Drew Several Visits from D.C.

No, I did not watch 'The Untouchables.' Before my time, or it was on CBS. I lived in a little town of Bellingham, WA in the early to mid 60's, and we only got NBC, ABC and PBS through the rabbit ears on our B/W Motorola set.

That, and after 11PM the Indian Chief test pattern. And of course, living right on the Canadian border, they signed off with both the national anthem and 'Oh Canada.'

Bachman is one of the ONLY people in government willing to speak out against ACORN and the other anti-constitutional happenings. She is amazing with her bravery and patriotism. I will never forget her almost lone struggle against overwhelming odds. Except she has the MAJORITY of Americans behind her. I hope she remembers that.

Bachman is on her way to being a true Statesman.

Hi They Say! Great vid and clip of Michelle! I had missed this...Gangster Gov't indeed. What do you expect from a community organizer and his henchmen from Chicago! I know, unfortunately, I live here.

Thanks for following my blog, yours is cool too, and I've returned the favor. I hope you & your family have a Merry Christmas.

Thank you, Bunni. And Merry Christmas to you also.

Bachmann is an independent thinker and shows the courage and integrity so many are lacking in our Congress. Perhaps, if we are fortunate, she will have a leadership position in the next Congress.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We surely will have our work cut out for us next year!
